Pay the deposit or balance of your stay
On CasaGiga, you pay the service fee on the day of booking. The host's deposit is then automatically charged to the same card seven days later, and the balance on the date set by the host. You are notified by email and SMS three days before each payment, and again once the charge has gone through.
If a payment fails (insufficient funds, limit reached, card replaced), you can pay that amount yourself using any card you choose — it is not limited to the one used originally. Log in, open My bookings, then your stay: the "Pay the deposit" or "Pay the balance" button appears at the top of the page. Another card, or one belonging to a member of your group, works just as well.
Cash payment on arrival is not possible. All payments go through the platform: this is what guarantees your booking and protects you if anything goes wrong. Some hosts offer an "on-site payment" option for the balance, but this is a choice they make when setting up their listing, visible before you book — not something that can be arranged after the fact.
If an amount remains unpaid, we will follow up and then send you a firm deadline. After that deadline, the booking is cancelled and the dates go back on sale; amounts already paid are not refunded. If you are having difficulties, the best course of action is to contact us before the due date.
