CasaZero: zero scams, guaranteed

What CasaZero guarantees

  • Every host is verified

Before a listing can be booked, its host goes through Stripe's identity check, our payment partner. No verified identity, no booking.

  • Your money stays with us until you arrive

Everything you pay on CasaGiga is held by CasaGiga. The host is only paid the day after you arrive, once the 24 hours to report a problem are over.

  • A problem on arrival? 24 hours to report it

House not found or no way to get in: full refund. House not as described: the host's payout is frozen and we decide.

  • The host cancels? 100% refunded

You get back everything you paid on CasaGiga, fees included, without chasing anyone. The money never left.

  • No phone, no address before payment

Nobody can call you, ask for a bank transfer or pretend to be the host. As soon as the booking is paid, you receive the host's name, phone, e-mail and the exact address.

The classic scams, and why they don't work on CasaGiga

⚠️1. The fake listing

A stunning house on a classifieds site, sleeps 20, fair price. You call the number: a charming "owner" asks for a €600 deposit by bank transfer to hold the date. On the day, the house is real… but it belongs to someone else, who is not expecting you. The photos were copied from a genuine listing.

On CasaGiga, no phone number ever appears on a listing: nobody can slip in between you and the house. And the verified host is only paid after you arrive.

⚠️2. The perfect viewing

"I visited, so it's safe." Not necessarily. A scammer rents the house for two nights on a platform, or has the keys: caretaker, former tenant. He shows it to five groups on the same Saturday and collects five deposits for the same weekend. A viewing proves the house exists, not that the person opening the door has the right to rent it to you.

On CasaGiga, the host's identity is verified and tied to the listing, and the money is only paid out after you arrive. Want to visit? Book first: you receive the address and the host's contact, and you visit protected.

⚠️3. The date sold twice

This time it's the real owner. You visited, you pay a €1,500 deposit. A month before the party, he cancels: he rented it for more to a wedding. "I'll pay you back soon." Six months later you are still waiting, and you had to find a house for 25 people in four weeks.

On CasaGiga, if the host cancels, you get back 100% of what you paid on CasaGiga, automatically. The money had never left CasaGiga.

⚠️4. The dream photos

Turquoise pool in the photos, green tarp on arrival. Sleeps 20 on the listing, 12 beds in the house. You have already paid the host in full: all that's left is to negotiate on the spot, with 20 people behind you.

On CasaGiga, you have 24 hours after arrival to report the problem. The host's payout stays frozen until we decide.

Why CasaGiga shows no name, no address and no phone before payment

Because that is where almost every scam gets in. A phone number on a listing is the open door for whoever copies the photos. A deposit paid "directly" is money nobody can stop any more. On CasaGiga there is no direct channel before payment: your questions go through our messaging, which passes on the host's answers without contact details. As soon as the booking is paid, you receive everything.

This is not a rumour

  • In the UK, 6,066 holiday fraud reports in 2024, with an average loss of £1,844 per victim (Action Fraud).
  • Booking.com saw travel scams rise by 500 to 900% in 18 months, driven by AI (2024).
