What happens if the traveller cancels?
The booking payment you have set (deposit) is **non-refundable** once charged.
The deposit is charged to the traveller's card **seven days after the booking** (on the day of booking, they only pay the CasaGiga service fee, which holds the dates). If they cancel within those first seven days, only the service fee is retained and the deposit is not charged: you get your dates back immediately.
If they cancel after the charge, the deposit **is yours to keep**: this is a penalty clause provided for in our general terms and conditions (Article 1231-5 of the French Civil Code). It is transferred to you immediately, and you get your dates back to re-let.
