This was our 2nd visit to La Croix Gites and it was just as good as the first. Firstly, Paula and Richard are fabulous hosts - ever helpful and they really know the area so are full of useful information. The location is stunning - so peaceful yet only 20 minutes from a host of attractions. The gite we stayed in was really comfortable for us 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. There were 3 good size bedrooms - 2 doubles and the 3rd with 2 singles. 1 bathroom with shower and loo. Another loo downstairs along with the lounge and kitchen dining area. The English plug sockets are a really nice touch! Outside we had a BBQ and seating area and access to a wonderful pool and sauna. Perhaps one of the highlights was the kids being able to pet the owners pet dog Bramble - the kids loved her!! I shouldn’t really be leaving such a glowing review - don’t want too many people finding out about this gem of a place! Thank you Paula and Richard!
Had a lovely few days here with our 2 year old. The cottage was clean and really well equipped with cot, bed rails, stair gate, potty, high chair, as well as a good selection of books, toys, DVDs and games. The heated pool is lovely and there is loads of safe space for young ones to run off some energy. Add in the option of a home cooked meal on arrival and a really friendly/helpful owner, if you have young kids and are after a place in this part of France you'd struggle to do better.
We had a fantastic time at La Croix Spa. It was our first holiday with our little girl Ava (12mths) and there was plenty to keep her entertained. The swimming pool and hot tub are amazing. Paula and Richard were great hosts making sure everything was perfect. I would recommend a La Croix Spa for a family holiday.
