We chose this house for our stay before climbing Mulhacén, and it was a fantastic decision. Located at the top of Trevélez Alto, it's a house that retains the charm of a traditional dwelling. The young woman who looked after us, María José, is delightful, very kind, and attentive. Definitely recommended.
My daughter, our pet, and I stayed at this place for four days, and it was truly wonderful. The owner was very attentive, and María José was a delight. We enjoyed the house and its fireplace (I recommend buying firewood because it makes the house incredibly warm). The village is charming, and we did some great hikes. I recommend the bakery and the ham shop in the middle of town. We'll be back soon!
The country house is excellent. I highly recommend staying there. The ceramic hob works perfectly, which is another plus. The options the village itself offers are fantastic. Furthermore, the owner's hospitality is simply outstanding. He's always ready to help with anything you need.

We've been visiting these mountains for many years and almost always return to Grandma Mercedes's house. At first, we always stayed in the large house, which I wholeheartedly recommend because it's beautiful; but for the last two years, they've renovated a smaller house right next door, ideal for couples, where no detail is overlooked. Spotless and meticulously maintained. The owners are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home; if you need anything, Maria José will bring it to you immediately. And the best part is that they let us bring our furry friends, who absolutely love them on our hiking trips. We'll definitely keep coming back whenever we can.
