Alojamiento Rural el Aguaderillo

About
In the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla, where Andalusia still keeps its secrets, Burunchel is a village that time has spared. A few kilometers from Cazorla and on the doorstep of Spain's largest protected natural area, the Alojamiento Rural el Aguaderillo opens onto a landscape of pine forests, limestone gorges, and crystal-clear springs — a territory where deer cross the roads at dawn and the air smells of rosemary and wild thyme.
From the moment you arrive, it is Félix, the owner, who sets the tone. This host of rare attentiveness has the manner of those who truly welcome guests: a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks, fresh bread, pastries, milk, fruit juice — everything ready before the bags are even set down. The house, perfectly maintained and carefully decorated, exudes a warmth that stands in sharp contrast to the impersonal feel of so many rentals. Every detail has been thought through so that the group feels at home from the very first hour.
The interior space is generous and well-equipped, designed to accommodate a group in comfort: a functional kitchen for preparing meals together, bright living areas where evenings stretch out pleasantly. The cleanliness is impeccable, unanimously noted by previous visitors — a given that, here, is anything but.
Outside, the Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas natural park is just a pair of hiking boots away. Hidden waterfalls, forest roads, hilltop villages, trout fishing in mountain rivers: the itinerary writes itself according to your mood. In the evening, you return to the Aguaderillo with the appetite that comes from a full day outdoors and the satisfaction of having seen an Andalusia far from the seaside clichés.
What groups take away from this stay is less a list of activities than a feeling: the feeling of having been truly welcomed, in a place that feels right, by someone who puts their heart into it. Félix's generosity, the gentleness of the landscape, the scent of the pines in the early morning — these are things you don't forget.

Félix, our host, was a wonderful person. From the moment we arrived, it was clear he was very thoughtful. He had fully stocked the refrigerator, even with soft drinks, and had left bread and everything else needed for breakfast, as well as sheets, towels, and everything freshly ozone-cleaned. He also left us a basket of sweets, a very thoughtful touch, especially since we had children. :) He showed us some hiking trails with great kindness and warmth, and was there for anything we needed. The house is magnificent, with a natural spring right in front, and has everything we could need: air conditioning, two spacious bedrooms, a beautiful living room, a terrace... We felt right at home, and the location is superb for numerous hikes, such as those along the Borosa River, the Cerezuelo River, the source of the Guadalquivir River, or visiting the Game Reserve. It's also very close to La Iruela Castle, a must-see. We were delighted and can't wait to return.

Excellent accommodation and excellent service from the owner. The house was very clean and welcoming, located at the entrance to the natural park and about 5 km from Cazorla. It was also well-equipped; the kitchen had everything needed for breakfast: coffee, milk, tea, pastries... even beer, soft drinks, and sweets for the children. The owner was delightful and very helpful, providing us with all the necessary information about visits, hiking trails, and places of interest. He's an expert on this area. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Thank you.
