Being in that house is like being in paradise, a total escape, and the pleasure of the birdsong and the sound of water fills the senses with well-being.... A lovely place in Ugijar, the house was clean, the sheets smelled of fabric softener, everything was very tidy and the decor was beautiful. We wouldn't rule out returning. The hostess, Martirio, is very polite, caring, and always willing to help with anything you need during your stay. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

We spent six unforgettable days at La Hortichuela in Ugíjar, and we couldn't be more grateful. We were a group of five looking for peace and quiet… and we found it in spades! The house is surrounded by beautiful, meticulously maintained gardens with charming corners perfect for relaxing, reading, or simply enjoying the sounds of nature. Even in the middle of August, the cool air in this area is a true privilege. Sleeping without air conditioning, with a light blanket and no noise… is priceless. The rooms are very cozy and impeccably clean, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. Our hosts, Martirio and Curro, are incredibly hospitable. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Curro even gave us a bag of tomatoes and peppers from his garden… and they were delicious! The best peppers I've ever tasted! Sweet, meaty, and bursting with flavor. Furthermore, the town of Ugíjar deserves special mention: a village steeped in history, traditions, and welcoming people, ideal for strolling, enjoying its cuisine, and discovering authentic corners of the Alpujarra region of Granada. If you're looking for a place to disconnect, breathe fresh air, sleep well, and feel truly welcome, La Hortichuela is the place for you. We'll definitely be back.

We spent five days enjoying Granada and staying in this beautiful, spacious, and very well-maintained house. It has plenty of room with a sunny and shady patio. The bedrooms are large, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. The owners are lovely people who were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. They provided towels and sheets. Dogs are allowed. Highly recommended.

He pasado unos días en este maravilloso hogar situado en un entorno idílico. Las habitaciones eran gigantes pero a la vez muy acogedoras, no faltaba ni una luz indirecta q no diera sensación de tranquilidad. Todas las estancias estaban muy limpias, las sábanas y colchas increíblemente inmaculadas. La cocina ideal para pasar momentos inolvidables de tertulia. Y un salón igualmente acogedor con variedad de sofás y sillones muy cómodos. No tuve la suerte de conocer en persona a Martirio pero en todo momento estuvo pendiente de mis necesidades. El exterior de la casa es igualmente acogedor. Y tienen un huerto q pude visitar gracias a Curro. Al igual que la tierra da su fruto, esta familia será bendecida en este proyecto, por el Amor que le ponen a todo. Volveré nuevamente
