We spent a family weekend at Castañar de Aracena and couldn't have been more comfortable. The house is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and has everything we needed to enjoy ourselves without a worry. There were eight of us, and the space was perfect for everyone—very comfortable and welcoming. The surroundings are incredible, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying nature. I highly recommend El Castañar. The house and the grounds with their centuries-old chestnut trees are beautiful. The quality, cleanliness, linens, and kitchenware are top-notch. The lovely photos on the website don't do it justice. We were four couples and another friend, traveling alone, and we were very comfortable.
An unbeatable experience. The house was spotless, very cozy, climate-controlled, and equipped with everything you need. A true paradise for getting away from it all. Surrounded by nature, perfect for sharing with friends and family. We'll be back!
If you're looking for an authentic getaway in a clean place with attention to detail, this is the place for you (I emphasize "clean" because it's not very common in rural houses and farmhouses). It must be amazing in winter, but it was also absolutely worth it in summer (when we were there). I encourage you to try it. Thanks for everything!
