We stayed for a week at Dona's home. The domain is beautiful and quiet, in the middle of vineyards and olive groves. Dona is a warm and enthusiastic person, who immediately makes you feel at home. She is also an excellent cook. The location is perfect to explore Tuscany: San Gimignano and Certaldo are about 15 mins away, Siena, Volterra and Florence an hour or less. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic experience and a quiet base from which to explore the region.
We didn't stay here, but Dona prepared lunch for us as part of a Tuscany tour with Art Viva. This was literally the best meal of my life. Full stop. Dona was so friendly and accommodating. I hope we can come back soon and stay with her someday.
We spent 3 fairy-tale days here. If you want to experience the Tuscan lifestyle with authentic culinary experiences, this is the perfect place. Donatella is kind and friendly. We felt like at home and our regret is that we didn't stay more days. The accommodation is very good and the location also has a very clean and cozy pool. I highly recommend this location to everyone!
