If you are yearning for an extraordinary Tuscan experience, look no further than Podere La Rocca Agriturismo. The simply serene atmosphere will transport you body and soul to a higher level, with sunsets that are a feast for the eyes. The rooms are perfectly appointed for relaxation and comfort and we appreciated the bottle of wine waiting for us. Breakfast (included) is ample and satisfying and we had both lunch and dinner at the on site restaurant and both were simple, delicious and expertly prepared. We also appreciated the pool, and took a refreshing dip each afternoon…heaven!! Special mention must be given to an amazing and dedicated staff. Sofia and Marianna went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Their recommendations were spot on…restaurants, truffle hunting, e-bike rental and the “must-do” Dinner in the Vineyard connected us to the Tuscan experience we dreamed of. Antonio and Salem were warm and welcoming for each meal. Do not miss “Cocktail Making” with Antonio, combining entertaining stories with refreshing Italian cocktails…a perfect afternoon’s activity. My wife, daughter and I totally enjoyed our stay. The only regret was that is was too short. We wish our plans could have had us stay longer. Our first night we had a spectacular dinner in the vineyard under the stars. The next day we had a pasta making class with Federico that was excellent. He was very patient with us while we made the pasta, plus he prepared it for us for lunch and it was delicious! We spent time by the beautiful pool and thoroughly relaxed. The apartment we rented was beyond our expectations! All the staff was very accommodating, cheerful and helpful. Sofia and Marianna kept us up to date prior to our arrival with excellent emails and even provided us with he name of a driver who took us into Montepluciano for dinner on the 2nd night because the Farmhouse had a private event. We also loved the location, views, and the pool! We would definitely recommend this farmhouse to any of our friends/family looking to stay in the area.
