About this home

Set in a converted village café nestled in the heart of the Saône-et-Loire countryside, this group gîte sleeps up to 15 guests across 6 spacious rooms. The 15 beds break down as follows: one room with bunk beds (2 beds, en-suite), one double room (2 beds), one room with a double and a single bed (3 beds), one double room (2 beds), one room with bunk beds and a double bed (4 beds, en-suite), and one double room (2 beds, en-suite). Three en-suite bathrooms and 5 toilets serve the whole group. The semi-professional kitchen handles large-scale cooking with ease, and the spacious living area has a table long enough to seat everyone together. Outside, a pergola terrace, charcoal barbecue, gas plancha, garden furniture and an outdoor bar set the scene for warm evenings. Inside, the games room features a billiard table, pinball machine, oversized wooden games and board games, with a sound system and stage ready for livelier moments. Indoor music and dancing evenings are fully welcome. Your hosts are musicians and can arrange — on request — an instrument discovery workshop or live musical entertainment during one of your meals. The Beaujolais and Mâconnais wine country, fishing lakes, hiking trails, forests and a cycling greenway are all close at hand. Families with young children will find everything they need (high chair, travel cot, baby bath…). Small dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Fibre Wi-Fi throughout. Please note that outdoor music, outdoor celebrations and external guests are not permitted.

I celebrated my thirtieth birthday at this gîte. We had a wonderful time. Everything was there: the sunny terrace, the pétanque court, the barbecue. The interior is very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is perfect for hosting 14 people. Big plus for the musical instruments and games available for use. If you're looking for a fun and comfortable place for family gatherings or to celebrate an event, go for it — you won't be disappointed!
