La Molise au Blanc

The cottage welcomes up to 30 guests across its 6 bedrooms, designed so that everyone can find their own space without ever losing the sense of being together. Long communal tables form naturally in the generous living areas, the dishwasher hums in the background after endless meals, and the wifi allows those who truly cannot switch off to stay connected — discreetly.

Outside, the pool becomes the gravitational center of afternoons. People float, dive, and debate nothing of consequence. Then, when the sun begins to sink and the air grows cool, the sauna takes over: dry heat, silence, a few murmuring voices. Evenings stretch on over games — cards, board games, darts, or whatever else — with that lightness particular to shared holidays, when hierarchies dissolve and laughter comes more easily.

The region itself unfolds at its own pace. The vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise are just an hour's drive away, Autun and its cathedral a little less. Local markets overflow with Bresse cheeses, cured sausages, and honeys that smell of woodland. You come back laden, cook together, open a bottle of Mâcon or Givry picked up along the way.
