Beautiful place with a montain view. The house is cozy and clean. Very kind host! Perfect place to rest in the nature. We had just great experience with neighbours as well, who invited us for a coffee and had been very helpful! Fully recommended!

A very well-equipped cottage located in a beautiful, quiet, and strategic spot, perfect for visiting the Ribeira Sacra and many other lovely places in the area. Jose, the caretaker, was very friendly and attentive, and he helped us with everything we needed. The staircase between the two floors seems a bit dangerous at first; it's true that you'd have to be careful with small children, but it has a gate with a lock. After going up and down a couple of times, you get the hang of it. In any case, there's a door to the street on both floors, so you can also access them from the outside. The garden is fully fenced and ideal if you're traveling with a dog. In short, we really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable.

The cleanliness is lacking, the beds are very uncomfortable, one of them tips over if you sit sideways... It's pathetic, and the bedclothes are so wrinkled, they feel like they haven't been changed... The house in general is dirty, a frying pan with oil residue, a bathroom with used soap and gels... Mouse droppings on the bed. I could go on... It's a shame because the house is nice but it's nowhere near tourist-friendly. It's obviously a getaway spot for the owners, and they rent it out occasionally. In short, we felt ripped off.

La casa no es práctica, tiene unos escalones para comunicar las dos plantas que para bajarlos tienes que ir de lado por qué el pie no te entra, literalmente te juegas el tipo. Tienes que salir por fuera de la casa para comunicarte entre plantas. En esta época es importante la limpieza, bueno siempre lo es pero ahora especialmente, las fotos que adjunto lo demuestra, no ha limpiado en meses. Hay elementos peligrosos como clavos oxidados a medio meter. En fin una mala experiencia.

I wouldn't even know where to begin describing the horrors of this place. Filth everywhere, months of accumulated dust, ceilings covered in cobwebs. The lights (where there were any, because there were wall sconces without bulbs) were 25 watts in the living room, giving off less light than a candle. The furniture was hideous, looking like it had been salvaged from the trash (not just pretty or ugly, which it certainly was), it was in a sorry state. The bathtub leaked from the bottom, flooding the entire bathroom. Zero maintenance. The bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen linens were ancient, clean but older than Methuselah. The dish towels were disgusting to touch, and the towels must have been new in another life. There wasn't even a tablecloth for the living room table (although they did leave us a roll of paper to use as a tablecloth). The house was freezing cold (stone walls) and had no heating whatsoever, except for some tiny radiators that took three days to heat it up. On the day of my arrival, we were cold at night. Unbelievable, when it could have been avoided by turning on the radiators in the morning (it would have been a nice touch from the owner). The coffee maker was broken and missing its handle. The barbecue grill had bits of something stuck to it that I didn't even bother to look at. Unusable. The stairs to get upstairs require crampons as if you were climbing Mount Everest; they are very dangerous, unsuitable for young or old alike. You simply can't have stairs like that in a public establishment. Which makes me wonder if this accommodation passed the necessary inspections...???? Breakfast: a tiny buffet? Hahaha. Three cartons of milk for four people, tons of herbal teas, and a packet of cookies—that was the entire buffet. What a rip-off! NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, LIKE THE PHOTOS. NOT EVEN CLOSE. And on top of that, I'd rather not even think about going back to this place. I don't understand how Booking.com can list something like this. It does a disservice. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO LOOK AT THIS PROPERTY.
