Perfect! Really warm welcome and great accommodation ... situated outside of Mont Dore, but the peace and tranquillity make it worth the trip. I slept like a log after a long day's hiking … I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the gîte after climbing Puy de Sancy before returning to Mont Dore. The host is very friendly. We had a very good dinner and breakfast. Patou was very responsive in many ways and even gave us advice on our hiking route for the next day… in short, a superb stop on our hiking itinerary.

Excellent hostel, with very good meals. The owner is very friendly. The rooms are clean and very spacious, even though they are shared, with one bed downstairs and another on a mezzanine offering a bit of privacy. Everything you'd expect from a hostel, with a great atmosphere.
