This was a delightful place to stay. I love Benamahoma and spend six weeks or more here every winter. Mayte and Francisco seem to have two rental units in their building. Ours was a standard two bedroom, 1 bath unit, very clean with a fully stocked kitchen and good beds. It's nothing fancy, but it is very comfortable and pleasant.
Family owned mostly but absolutely charming
A great place to spend a few days, the apartment is clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a good hike. It's located very close to the Molino del Susto (Scary Mill) and on the route of several trails. You can also bring pets; the owners are very friendly.
We went with our family to Benamahoma and stayed two nights in a rural house managed by Benamahoma Rural. Despite the short notice, Mayte was incredibly helpful, streamlining the booking process and answering all our questions. She was also very attentive during our stay and assisted us with everything we needed. We stayed in the two-bedroom house with our dog, for which there was an additional charge. The house has all the comforts for a relaxing family getaway. It has a fireplace, a television with access to various streaming services, kitchenware, and everything else you might need. Excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again.
Everything was perfect, as agreed, and the service was personalized. We arrived and left on a tight schedule, and they attended to us immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to this beautiful and peaceful mountain village. The house was very well-equipped.
