Mas Collell - Allotjament rural

Mas Collell is a rural Catalan farmhouse located in El Mallol, in the Fluvià valley, less than an hour from Girona. The house is sized to accommodate a large group: the interior volumes allow everyone to find their own space without getting in each other's way, whether in the shared living areas or the bedrooms. The recurring reviews about the size and comfort confirm that the property delivers on its promises for extended families or groups of friends.

Outside, the pool and the large lawn form the heart of collective life. These two spaces structure the days: swimming, outdoor meals, cool evening gatherings. The rural setting ensures peace and privacy, with no intrusive neighbors.

The farmhouse is particularly well suited to the following events: - Family weekends with children, the green and secure setting being directly mentioned by several groups - Birthdays and celebrations requiring a private venue with both indoor and outdoor space - Retreats or seminars on a human scale, where the relative isolation encourages focus and team cohesion - Intimate weddings, for ceremonies without major infrastructure but in an authentic setting

The owners live next door, which is a concrete advantage: available when needed, they do not impose their presence. This arrangement avoids the logistical problems common to rentals with no local point of contact.

With a rating of 4.8/5 across 79 reviews, the property demonstrates reassuring consistency. Feedback mentions the welcome, the tranquility, and the feeling of leaving genuinely rested — three criteria directly relevant to anyone organizing a group stay where collective relaxation is the main goal.
