We were lucky enough to rent three of the four cottages for a family reunion (a group of nine siblings with their respective spouses), and what can I say except to rave about the layout, the cleanliness, and the decor? It was absolutely magnificent, not to mention Sophie, her good humor, her enthusiasm, and her genuine pleasure in welcoming her guests. It felt like being part of a very large family; we could fully benefit from her helpful advice and her exceptional kindness—in short, what a joy! We would absolutely love to come back.
Absolutely delighted with our family stay, new booking for 2027 confirmed, phew! We loved the peaceful and green setting, very well maintained, the cottage was immaculate, superbly equipped and decorated with care and taste (I borrowed a few ideas 😊). We felt right at home. Sophie was available and responsive to our requests, smiling, welcoming, dedicated, and so cheerful!!! All her advice on bike rides, markets, clam digging, fishmongers, mills (flour), salt marshes, traditional thatched cottages, beaches, gourmet restaurants… contributed to the success of our holiday, honestly! After a few inconveniences the previous week, we were able to relax in Sophie's cottage. A very restful week, a very well-equipped cottage with very comfortable beds, a charming, welcoming, and attentive hostess, all amenities nearby—we will definitely return! Thank you again, Sophie!
We booked all four cottages for our group of 22 (family and friends) to explore this part of the Vendée region by bike. Sophie and her husband Patrick were exceptionally welcoming, and the cottages were perfect, with large, well-equipped bedrooms and quality bedding. Sophie was always available to answer our questions and offered invaluable sightseeing tips with infectious good humor!
