This has changed hands since we visited and I don’t think these reviews should be included.
The stay could and should have been delightful, given the amenities described. However, the owners knowingly concealed the fact that the renovations to both the existing and new pools had been incomplete since the beginning of April, leaving us extremely disappointed. Despite the beautiful weather during the Pentecost weekend, we were unable to enjoy swimming, which is usually an integral part of an annual family weekend. If you are planning a stay here, be sure to check the condition of the pools beforehand! I would also like to point out that my niece received an email informing her of the likely unavailability of the pool five days before our arrival. We clearly have different interpretations of the expression "well in advance."
These cottages are perfect for a getaway! They're very well-equipped and suitable for families with children. There's also an outdoor area to enjoy the fresh air. We had a lovely weekend. The owners' recommendations for local caterers were a real bonus too!
