Le Volcan’Hostel

At the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the village of Picherande is home to a place designed for large gatherings and memorable reunions: the Volcan'Hostel. This cottage with a distinct character immerses you in an authentic and generous atmosphere, set in a natural landscape shaped by the region's volcanic history. From the very first moments, the place inspires conviviality — that simple and precious desire to come together.

Designed to accommodate up to 27 people, the Volcan'Hostel offers a shared living space large enough that no one feels cramped. Its 4 bedrooms allow for practical sleeping arrangements while maintaining that communal home atmosphere where guests cross paths in the hallways. Managing a stay as a group comes almost naturally here, and life with a large crowd finds its ideal setting.

When it comes to amenities, the barbecue is undoubtedly one of the venue's greatest assets. All it takes is a fine afternoon and an enthusiastic group for outdoor gatherings to turn into unforgettable moments, where the smell of grilling mingles with bursts of laughter. The games available on-site round out the atmosphere, ensuring lively evenings and full afternoons for everyone in the group.

The Volcan'Hostel proves to be the perfect backdrop for all kinds of get-togethers: milestone family birthdays, reunion weekends with old friends, multigenerational stays, or corporate retreats immersed in nature. Here, every shared barbecue meal becomes an event, every game goes on well past the first round, and every evening brings the group together in a warmth that's contagious.

Because the best stories are always written together, the Volcan'Hostel is waiting for you in Picherande. All that's left is to gather your loved ones and let the magic happen.
