Le Mas d'Eylieux

In southern Ardèche, on the heights of Saint-Montan, the Mas d'Eylieux spreads over 40 hectares of garrigue and hills. The estate is not one big house: it brings together six independent gîtes, sleeping 2 to 7 each, for exactly 25 beds in total.

That is what makes it special for groups. Each gîte has its own kitchen, toilet and shower, so every family or small group keeps its own pace, its own hours and its own space, while sharing the same estate. You can rent one gîte, several, or the whole estate depending on your group size and availability. The bed layout is confirmed with Pascale, who hosts the groups, before booking.

The 10 × 5 m outdoor pool is open from mid-May to September, weather permitting. It is shared between guests when only part of the estate is rented, and reserved for your group only when you book the entire estate. Sun loungers, benches and a swing seat surround the pool.

Meals are self-catered: everyone cooks in their own gîte, and for meals all together, the shared spaces are agreed with Pascale. On rainy days, the Côté Jardin space allows a sheltered meal for up to 30 people. Wi-Fi is available in some areas of the estate, with no guaranteed coverage in every gîte, and the gîtes are not air-conditioned.

Around the estate, southern Ardèche is there to explore: the medieval lanes of Saint-Montan, the Ardèche gorges, the markets of Bourg-Saint-Andéol. Family reunions, birthdays or stays with friends: the Mas d'Eylieux suits groups who want to be together without living on top of each other.
