A disgrace! The cottage was filthy and very poorly equipped, especially the kitchen (dishes so damaged they were unusable, only one salad bowl, etc.). There were mice, no ventilation or windows in the bathrooms, and the beds were dirty and uncomfortable (they creaked even when you weren't moving!). It offered the bare minimum; we would have been better off in a tent! The oven and dishwasher were in poor condition and didn't work properly—a complete lack of care. The garden wasn't maintained either, which is a shame. It didn't meet any standards. Avoid at all costs!
This place is nothing like the picture... A disgraceful, filthy mess that looks nothing like the photos. Cobwebs, mouse marks, and grime on the walls and windows. An unkempt garden. Even the wood-burning stove has a wall attached! 😡😡😡 I don't think anything is up to code, and a health inspection wouldn't hurt. Avoid at all costs! And please report this.
The accommodation wasn't ready for us. The fridge and oven were dirty. The shower was cold because the water heater was broken. We had to clean the garden chairs and tables ourselves because they were filthy when we arrived. There was dust under the furniture. It was unhygienic. A shame, because the countryside setting is lovely.
