Le Chat l'heureux

Le Chat l'heureux is a cottage located in Terrasson, in the Dordogne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine), able to accommodate up to 24 people across 10 bedrooms. This capacity makes it a fitting address for groups that refuse to split across multiple properties: everyone sleeps under the same roof, meals are shared in the same place, and days are spent together.

The ten bedrooms can host a large multigenerational family as easily as a group of friends for an extended weekend, a company team on a residential seminar, or a stag or hen party. The cottage is equally suited to large-scale birthday celebrations and intimate weddings that prefer a private setting to a traditional reception venue.

The swimming pool is the central shared space in season: large enough for twenty-four people to use it without getting in each other's way. The barbecue extends meals outdoors and works just as well for a Sunday cookout as for a team dinner in the evening. The fireplace takes over indoors during the cooler months, creating a natural gathering space after the day's activities.

On the practical side, the dishwasher and washing machine do away with the usual constraints of long group stays: washing up after a meal for 24 doesn't monopolise an hour of everyone's time, and clothes can be laundered on-site without needing to pack extra luggage. Wi-Fi keeps those who need it connected, including groups on seminars that alternate between working sessions and downtime.

A selection of games rounds out the entertainment options for evenings or rainy days.
