Le Bas Aulnay

Nestled in the heart of the Pays de la Loire, Le Bas Aulnay exudes that particular atmosphere of grand country houses where time seems to slow the moment you cross the threshold. The cottage sleeps up to 22 people across its 8 bedrooms, giving everyone space to unwind after full days spent together.

For large gatherings, comfort is well catered for: Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected when needed, while the dishwasher takes the pressure off the kitchen crews after communal meals. When temperatures drop, the fireplace invites guests to gather in a cosy atmosphere, drinks in hand, with the soft crackling of embers as a backdrop. And when the weather is fine, the pool and barbecue turn the garden into a true outdoor party headquarters, where grilling and swimming follow one another at leisure.

Le Bas Aulnay lends itself perfectly to large family gatherings where three generations finally come together under one roof, to friends' weekends that had long called for a venue worthy of the occasion, or to corporate retreats seeking an inspiring setting away from the usual meeting rooms. The play areas provide entertainment for young and old alike, stretching evenings well beyond dessert.

In Challain-la-Potherie, the Loire Valley surroundings wrap the cottage in the gentle warmth typical of this region, among hedgerows and fresh country air. Whether celebrating a wedding, marking a milestone birthday, or simply reconnecting with beloved faces, Le Bas Aulnay has everything it takes to turn these shared moments into memories cherished long after the journey home.
