La Riolette
About
La Riolette is a 6-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 18 guests, located in Briançon, at the gateway to the Serre Chevalier ski resort in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The property sits just steps from the slopes, making it a natural base for mountain stays in both winter and summer. The six bedrooms offer a rare capacity for family groups or groups of friends wishing to stay under one roof without splitting across multiple accommodations.
The cottage features a dishwasher, practical for group stays, as well as games available on-site. Heating is present throughout all rooms, including the bathrooms — a detail appreciated during cold nights at altitude. The owners have a reputation for exceptional attentiveness among guests who have stayed here.
The food is worth mentioning: the hosts serve homemade lasagna that has left a lasting impression on several visitors. Breakfast is served on-site, in a simple and functional format. The overall stay benefits from careful, attentive hosting, reflected in a 5/5 Google rating across 4 reviews.
Briançon, the highest city in Europe with UNESCO-listed ramparts, offers a unique architectural setting just minutes from the Serre Chevalier resort, one of the largest ski areas in the French Alps with more than 250 kilometers of runs.

Very good accommodation, close to the ski resort. Excellent service. I didn't go during the colder months, but they seemed to have good heaters, even in the bathroom. Breakfast was a bit basic, but adequate. There's nothing nearby to eat, so remember to bring your own food for dinner.
