I recently stayed at the property with some friends, seven families in total (13 adults and 15 children). Paola's kindness and helpfulness, which she showed us and went out of her way to ensure everyone's comfort, was undoubtedly priceless. The breakfast was excellent, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for the kids to play in! We'll definitely be back this summer to enjoy the pool!
Highly recommended. The property is located in a fabulous hilly area, it fully embraces the Umbrian atmosphere that people seek, especially as a getaway from the metropolitan cities. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast service is excellent, offering authentic fresh tarts and delicious ring cakes paired with homemade jams, prepared by Chiara, a fantastic woman. Breakfast tends to be sweet. The pool is quite large, with sun loungers and umbrellas, and is also nestled in a natural, unspoiled setting with olive trees and extensive grounds. Room prices are in line with the current Italian average. The property also offers independent apartments. The strong point of this property is its owner, Mrs. Paola. She is very kind and helpful with recommendations for nearby restaurants. She is also always available to accommodate your personal needs.
Located on the hills outside the charming village of Portaria, La Perticara is a place immersed in greenery, surrounded by olive trees and forest, where the accommodations are arranged so that everyone can maintain their own privacy. The welcome is warm, and the breakfast is excellent, thanks to the talented woman who bakes the cakes and welcomes you in the dining room. The pool is beautiful, offering breathtaking sunsets. The farm's olive oil is very good and available for purchase. A place we'll definitely return to!
