We organized a surprise 30th birthday party for a friend over a weekend. We had a great stay and the cottage was perfect! Nothing was missing! Impeccably clean, no hot water problems despite our large number! The owner welcomed us very warmly. We will be back for the 40th anniversary!
Greedy and malicious owner. The two cottages are poorly laid out and would require expensive renovations that the lady does not want to undertake. The bedrooms of one of the cottages are attached to the living room of the other cottage, which is designed to accommodate 12 people. The noise is not lacking, and the walls between the two cottages are very thin, giving the impression of cohabitation. The place is dirty and not the most welcoming, with the exception of the bathrooms and one bedroom, which put a damper on my opinion. In short: a bad experience.
Spacious cottage (Le Tourond) well located near shops and winter activities. Overall, a good stay with friends despite a few issues (lack of maintenance of the cottage, among others...) that the hostess is unwilling to address in order to improve the guest experience. A shame!
WARNING: SCAM! We booked through Airbnb, where Suzanne, the owner, broke one of the fundamental rules: requesting a €500 security deposit check outside of the platform. Trusting her, we gave her the check, which was never returned. The check was cashed the very next day to reimburse her other neighboring guests who complained about noise during our stay (there were 12 of us). Due to the lack of soundproofing in her rental and the absence of a check-out inspection, we are now subjected to the owner's false accusations, and she is refusing to return our deposit... Avoid at all costs.
Je déconseille ! Lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons été accueillis par une femme très désagréable, les couverts et les draps étaient sales , je pense qu’elle ne lave pas les draps à chaque passage, de plus elle cherche la moindre petite imperfection dans l’appartement pour retenir la caution , personne très malhonnête qui ne s’intéresse qu’à l’argent , vacances gachés par ce gîte minable !
