La Cazalla de Ronda

La Cazalla was a truly magical place for us. The villa and each room is knock your eye out beautiful. The villa itself is surrounded by gardens with fresh herbs, lemon trees and olive orchards. There are walking trails around the property with views of the high cliffs which rise up all around. Then too, it is all very convenient to the city of Ronda where you can walk around the Cuenca gardens along the high cliffs where the city sits looking down on flights of birds. To top it all off, Mark and Lisa are attentive and very helpful hosts.

I’d like to share our thoughts on our “not long enough” stay with Lisa and Mark. My wife and I travel probably half the year from the US to many different destinations across the world…we’ve made the purposeful intention to enjoy different cultures, culinary delights and new experiences over the last 15 years. This desire to hold the world in our arms bit by bit has rewarded us with moments and emotions that live with us daily. Our stay with Mark and Lisa, exemplified why this is a beautiful continuum of our desire and passion to move forward at every turn. I’ve never felt more peace than at their gorgeous home…beginning with the gracious welcoming of our hosts, their vast knowledge of the history regarding this area all the way through to sleeping with a peaceful, gentle breeze listening to various nature sounds as we drifted off to sleep in gave us such a settling experience that one must feel to believe. I could not recommend La Cazalla enough…a true treasure near Ronda!

This place is incredible!!! The kind of place where you decide that nothing around is worth visiting, you just want to stay and enjoy the villa. Thanks to Lisa and Mark, great hosts and delicious paella on our arrival. We'll certainly try to come back with the kids one day. Thanks again!!!!

Lifetime memories created – Highly Recommend! Our recent stay at La Cazalla was truly exceptional from start to finish! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday experience. Our three generational party of 11 were easily accommodated with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and communal space. The location is absolutely perfect for our vacation. It offered convenience to Ronda while still providing a wonderful sense of peace and relaxation with the stunning countryside all around. What truly set this experience apart were the excellent hosts, Lisa and Mark. They were incredibly welcoming, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. From their warm greeting to their helpful local tips, their hospitality was outstanding and made us feel truly at home. They have created an absolute gem and added wonderful personal touches of this very unique place. The accommodation itself was superb. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making it a comfortable and inviting space. Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well-maintained. The garden is absolutely stunning and provided the kids with endless hours of fun playing hide and seek and exploring. We particularly appreciated the large pool during the heat of the day and then the wonderful large outdoor seating area for dinner. We had an absolutely fantastic time and highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday. Thank you, Lisa and Mark for an unforgettable stay!

We had a great week at La Cazalla de Ronda with our whole family. The house is fully equipped and the rooms are really beautiful. Around the house there are lots of cozy seating areas where you can read, but also just look around to enjoy the beautiful views. And the pool is actually the most wonderful place around the house. Nice and big and with good beds, enough for all of us. Ronda is very closeby and really a 'must see'. We also enjoyed hiking around the house and horseback riding around Ronda. Thank you Lisa for your hospitality and good care, we'll definitely be back.
