La Casa del Molí

We spent a weekend with friends and children. The house was very clean and well-equipped. The outdoor area, with its sandbox, swings, and wooden playhouse, is ideal for children. We collected eggs from the henhouse and spent time with the animals. We enjoyed the outdoors and a barbecue. We would definitely return!

Casa del Molí is a fantastic house. It's surrounded by nature and tranquility. The house is very clean and has everything you could need. The owners are very friendly and attentive. We absolutely enjoyed our family getaway at Casa del Molí and will definitely return as soon as we have the chance. I recommend it 100%. Thank you, Roger and Anna, for everything!

There is a picnic area, a small waterfall and a dam. It is highly recommended to follow the path along the river (the same one that passes in front of the house) to the village of Torrelles. You can also see dry stone huts about 10 minutes walk from the house. -You can also go on a trip from the house itself to the hermitage of Sant Joan de la Muntanya (1 hour uphill), from where you have views of Montserrat and the Penedès plain to the sea. You can have similar views from the Sanctuary of Foix, better to get there by car, about 20 minutes from the house. -You may start to find frolicking in the forest near the house. Visits to wineries: - Regarding wineries, we recommend the visit to Parés Baltà. A very complete visit where they will explain how biodynamic and ecological agriculture works at the foot of the vineyard and then you will see the winery and finish with a tasting. The price is €15 for the people who do the tasting and €7 for the rest but you have a 10% discount if you process it through us. -The visit to Colet is also good, where you will find sparkling wines under the Clàssic Penedes seal (organic, grown and produced in the Penedès, minimum 15-18 months of aging, etc.) -vinseum: museum of the world of wine in Vilafranca -monastery of Santas Creus: world heritage by UNESCO Contact with animals: -For horse-pony, there is the horse farm Maset dels Cavalls in Pacs del Penedes. 30 minutes on a pony are €10. -Làctics foix is ​​a cow farm in Torrelles and you can go for free, although we encourage you to stop by the shop so you can buy their dairy products: raw milk, yogurts, smoothies, cottage cheese, cheesecake, etc. They also sell their products at a great price, especially in Penedès. I really enjoyed it. The house is very welcoming and charming. The old watermill section is being restored but can be visited. It's worth noting that they organize interesting activities, such as a nighttime astronomy session on the property, discounts on visits to the Balta Cellars, free access to the Pontons Municipal Swimming Pool, and more activities that are currently being planned.
