La Bastide du Claus - Vitaverde

La Bastide du Claus - Vitaverde is a Provençal cottage located in Cruis, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, near the Luberon Regional Natural Park. The property accommodates up to 30 guests across 4 bedrooms, making it a suitable option for large family or friend groups looking to stay under one roof.

The building embodies the architectural hallmarks of the traditional bastide: exposed stone walls and Roman-style roof tiles. The central living room features a working fireplace, a natural gathering point for evenings spent together. The private garden includes a barbecue area for outdoor dining, with views over the hills of Haute-Provence.

For everyday comfort, the cottage is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine — two essentials for a large-group stay. A private sauna rounds out the relaxation amenities. Wi-Fi coverage extends throughout the building. A games area is available for indoor evenings.

Cruis is a hilltop village sitting at around 750 metres above sea level, surrounded by oak forests and lavender fields. The town of Forcalquier lies roughly fifteen kilometres away, offering shops and Provençal markets. The Gorges du Verdon are reachable in around 40 kilometres, and the heart of the Luberon in under an hour's drive. The village provides direct access to a network of hiking trails through unspoiled countryside.
