I have stayed in many places with many great hosts, but I can say without a doubt that Eude tops them all. His castle, as he aptly calls it, is everything and more that you could want in a place to stay and we will definitely be staying again in the future. And the location is so natural that you can’t help but be outside (eat, walk, row, run and even forage). The best part is it’s proximity to Paris. Five stars all around for everything from value to cleanliness to comfort to attentiveness. Regardless of why you travel, Eude’s charisma, warmth and smile took away big city stress and made the whole experience wonderful. You cannot do better than a stay at Grand-Varennes!
Bucolic property and fantastic host. A gem at few steps out of Paris. Definitely worth looking at for a gathering between friends ( accommodation + reception room) in a castle !
