Gites Famille en Othe
About
Located in Bouilly, in the Grand Est region, the Gîtes Famille en Othe accommodates up to 20 people across 7 bedrooms, spread between two separate cottages complemented by a large shared common room. The whole property is designed for group stays: several distinct spaces allow guests to cook, play as a family, rest, or work without getting in each other's way. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine is available on-site, and a barbecue makes it easy to organize outdoor meals. The setting is peaceful, in a quiet residential area, while remaining practical: a bakery and supermarkets are within easy reach, both in the village itself and in the surrounding area.
The two cottages are kept in a carefully maintained state of cleanliness and are fully equipped, with no reported shortcomings from guests. The overall layout encourages a convivial atmosphere while still leaving room for more private moments. Communication with the host, Fanny, is described as smooth and pleasant by guests. With a Google rating of 5.0/5 based on 66 reviews, the property displays a consistency that is rare for an accommodation of this size.
This type of property is particularly well suited to family reunions, friends' weekends, or gatherings of several households looking for a shared space without sacrificing individual comfort. The Forêt d'Othe, which gives the gîtes their name, offers a wooded environment ideal for walks right on the doorstep.

The two cottages and the large common room are very clean, very well equipped, and ideally located: a quiet area with convenient shopping options (bakery, supermarkets) nearby (both in the village and 10km from the cottages). The owner was very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect. We would gladly return!
The cottage is perfect for a holiday with several families! It has several spaces for family games, quiet time, cooking, and working... it's generally well laid out, although the dining area could really use a kitchen big enough to cook for the number of guests it can accommodate! As it is, you have to cook on both sides to serve everyone. Otherwise, it's fantastic!
A superb place to share without hesitation! Calm and relaxing, the cottage has a lot of charm and lovely amenities. Communication with Fanny was very smooth and pleasant. I highly recommend it!
The two cottages and the reception room are perfect for a family gathering. There were 15 of us, and everyone was able to find a suitable spot. The cottages are very clean, simply decorated, and have everything you need (except a mixer for making egg whites! :))
I booked Fanny's cottage to celebrate my birthday for a whole weekend with family and friends. What can I say except that it was perfect! Both accommodations are comfortable and well-equipped, and the function room is lovely for spending the evenings! We were able to enjoy the peaceful and pleasant garden all weekend. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
