Gîtes de Granquié

The Gîtes de Granquié are located in Montredon-Labessonnié, in the Tarn, in the heart of Occitania, on the heights of the Massif Central with open views over the surrounding hills. The estate accommodates up to 25 people, spread across 5 bedrooms. The whole property lends itself to exclusive hire for large groups, families or associations.

Wi-Fi covers the entire property. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, which simplifies the organisation of large-scale meals. A washing machine is available for longer stays. The fireplace provides supplementary heating and sets the mood for group evenings during the cooler seasons. A barbecue area allows for outdoor dining from the first fine days. Indoor games are provided to liven up the evenings.

Montredon-Labessonnié is a rural village in the Tarn, around thirty kilometres from Castres. A supervised swimming lake is accessible less than two kilometres from the gîtes. The Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park borders the area directly, with marked hiking trails starting from the property. The Thoré and Agout rivers offer kayaking and fishing a few kilometres away. Mountain biking on the trails of the massif is another activity enjoyed from the estate.

The architecture of Granquié is that of a rural stone hamlet, with thick walls that keep the interior cool in summer, and generous volumes suited to large-capacity accommodation.
