The estate unfolds its seven rooms with the generosity of a southern farmhouse: each group finds its place naturally, whether for a milestone birthday, a family gathering, or those long-overdue reunions between friends that kept getting pushed back. The pool structures the mornings — children in the water, adults in the shade with a novel they will probably never read. Come afternoon, the barbecue takes over: smoke rises lazily, glasses clink, and no one checks the time.
As evening falls, the large common room comes alive around the fireplace. This is where dinners turn into late-night gatherings, where board games come out of their boxes, where generations mix without effort. In the height of summer, the air conditioning tames the heaviest hours of the day; once the season tips into autumn, the fireplace reclaims its rightful place. The dishwasher and washing machine — details you underestimate before you arrive and genuinely appreciate when you are sixteen — free up time for what actually matters.
Entire families have taken over the estate for their major celebrations. They describe it as a "magnificent and peaceful" setting, a place carrying an atmosphere you cannot manufacture. The farmhouse wears its years with a soul that newly renovated properties will never have.

Nous avons séjourné le temps d’un week-end à l’occasion d’une fête familiale, et l’expérience a été décevante. Le lieu est globalement vieillissant et manque clairement d’entretien. Les salles de bains et cuisines sont limites et la robinetterie mérite d'être changée, sans oublier le pommeau de douche, etc, tout est des années 90 et est resté dans sont jus... Le jardin est laissé à l’abandon, (le propriétaire n'a pas de solution pour éviter les mauvaises herbes !!!) rendant les extérieurs peu avenant, ce qui est particulièrement dommage pour un séjour en groupe. Le ménage est acceptable (insectes morts sous les lits à notre arrivée) et les couchage sont au minimum de la qualité. Même si la piscine n’était pas encore ouverte en mai, l’état de ses abords n’inspire pas confiance et ne donne pas envie d’y revenir lorsqu’elle est en service (par exemple les dalles ont clairement bougés, mettez des chaussures...). Pour le Wifi, tellement faible qu'ils faut rester en 5G. Enfin, il est important de préciser que les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité actuelle : elles semblent dater d’au moins une dizaine d’années.

Our stay at Mas de Coste was a truly relaxing and restful experience. This gîte has a real soul, and the owner is incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. So, if you're looking for a typical holiday club, this isn't for you, but if you're seeking authenticity, you'll be delighted.
The photos found on the website must have been taken a long time ago because everything in this house is showing its age. It's a bit of a misrepresentation... One of the cottages is supposed to accommodate up to 8 people but only has one bathroom and one toilet. In short, it's a bit expensive for what it is.
