The Gîte Les Volcans is well located for hiking. However, the gîte was very poorly heated (14°C) and damp. It was so cold we needed two blankets and a duvet to sleep. The building is attractive, but the rest needs updating. There is parking in the courtyard.
We received a very warm welcome from the owner at this clean and inviting gîte. We were a group of 15 friends experienced in this type of gathering and were completely satisfied with the services offered by the property. The location is excellent in a very touristy area.
The hotel has been converted into a self-catering group accommodation. Although the setting is rustic, the facilities and comfort are sufficient for a pleasant group stay.
Terrible welcome!!! I came to inquire about room prices, and the owner was extremely unpleasant and even ended up insulting me! I absolutely do not recommend this place.
