Gîte La Fora

La Fora Gîte is a cottage located on the Hauteville Plateau, in the Ain department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, at approximately 900 metres above sea level. This mid-mountain area offers crisp air, conifer forests and the open landscapes characteristic of the southern Bugey. The plateau is renowned for its marked hiking trails, its cross-country ski runs in winter and its cycling routes in summer.

The gîte accommodates up to 20 guests, spread across 4 bedrooms. This capacity makes it a suitable venue for family gatherings, group holidays with friends or group retreats seeking a natural setting. The interior layout allows common living areas and bedrooms to be arranged in a way that comfortably absorbs a large number of occupants.

In terms of facilities, the gîte is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine, two appliances that ease the logistics of extended stays with a large number of guests. A barbecue is also available for outdoor meals, making the most of the outdoor space afforded by the plateau environment.

Its location in Hauteville-Lompnes, a town known for its spa heritage and woodland setting, places the gîte within easy reach of the village's shops while maintaining a sense of immersion in a largely rural environment. Summer temperatures here remain cool, which is a tangible advantage for July and August stays compared to the surrounding valleys.
