Gite la Colline Verte

Nestled in the heights of Ustou, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, Gîte la Colline Verte is a spacious cottage ideal for group stays in an unspoilt natural setting.

The gîte accommodates up to 26 people across its 5 bedrooms. Its capacity makes it well suited to large family gatherings, trips with friends, or group weekends. The communal areas provide ample space for everyone to come together without feeling cramped, whether to share a meal, relax, or organise group activities.

In terms of facilities, the cottage has wifi, allowing guests to stay connected despite the relative remoteness of the location. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, making meal management easier for large groups. A washing machine is also available for longer stays. On evenings or cooler days, the fireplace creates a warm atmosphere conducive to convivial moments. The barbecue makes it possible to eat outside on fine days. Finally, games are provided for guests to enjoy during their free time.

Ustou is a village in the Garbet valley, in the Ariège department (Occitanie region). The village is surrounded by forests and Pyrenean terrain offering a wide range of outdoor activities: hiking along the many marked trails in the area, mountain biking, and fishing in the surrounding streams and rivers. In winter, the Ariège ski resorts are easily accessible nearby. The local heritage — mountain villages, Romanesque chapels, natural sites — also provides plenty to explore. The setting suits groups looking for peace and nature, while remaining a reasonable distance from the amenities of the valley.
