Lovely family-owned bed and breakfast in a newly renovated farmhouse.
I stayed overnight with my sister on our way north. La Maison d’Emmanaelle is a charming, welcoming, and warm guesthouse, conveniently located between the two highways southeast of Bordeaux. I love the style; everything is spotless. Breakfast includes bread, pastries, and good quality tea or coffee. The place is very relaxing and offers a lovely reception room for family gatherings of up to 35 people, as well as pleasant outdoor spaces. I highly recommend this place: a wonderful discovery.
We came as a family for our son's wedding, which was taking place a few kilometers away. We occupied all seven rooms, which were perfectly prepared for our arrival. We had breakfast in the large dining room and on the terrace. We recommend Le Fournil de 1903 for bread and pastries; go early.
