Mauvezin is a town in the Gers department in the Occitania region, known for its well-preserved character and its medieval bastide. The surrounding area offers an environment well suited to relaxation and country walks, with the rolling hills and vineyards characteristic of Gascony. History enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to heritage sites, while food lovers will find plenty of opportunities in the area to discover local specialties — foie gras, Gascon wines, and farmers' markets. The cottage's location also makes it easy to plan excursions to towns such as Auch, the prefecture of Gers, around thirty kilometers away, or to the bastide towns and typical villages that dot the Gers countryside.
