Domaine le Mesnil Dan

Domaine le Mesnil Dan is a cottage located in Lingèvres, in the Calvados department of Normandy, in the heart of the rural and verdant countryside typical of this region in north-west France.

The property is designed to accommodate large groups: it can host up to 24 people, making it a particularly well-suited address for large family gatherings, weekend getaways with friends, or corporate retreats away from major cities. The estate comprises 3 bedrooms, complemented by communal spaces sized to allow all occupants to come together and share convivial moments. The layout of the property encourages communal living while offering quieter spaces for those who need them.

In terms of amenities, the estate offers Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine, covering the practical needs of an extended stay for a large group. The fireplace serves as a focal point during evenings in the shoulder seasons or winter, bringing warmth and a welcoming atmosphere indoors. Outside, a barbecue makes it easy to organize al fresco meals during the warmer months. Games are available on-site, providing entertainment options without the need for additional equipment. Taken together, these features make for a self-sufficient and comfortable stay for large groups.

Lingèvres is located in the heart of the Calvados, a few kilometres from Bayeux, a historic town renowned in particular for its 11th-century tapestry. Normandy is a region rich in commemorative sites: the D-Day beaches of the Second World War are accessible in under an hour from the estate, as are the many memorials and museums dotted along the coastline. Nature lovers will appreciate the surrounding bocage countryside, ideal for walks. The local gastronomy — PDO cheeses, cider, calvados — can be discovered at the region's markets and farm producers. The Normandy coast, with sites such as Arromanches or Port-en-Bessin, rounds out the range of activities accessible from the estate.
