Domaine des Minières

In the heart of deepest Touraine, where the Indre winds between châteaux and hedgerow country, the Domaine des Minières stands as a retreat outside of time. Just ten minutes from Loches — a royal city whose ramparts seem to have sprung from a medieval novel — and within easy driving distance of several great Loire estates, this generous cottage accommodates up to 22 people across its 12 bedrooms, ideal for large family gatherings or reunions among friends.

From the very first glance, the greenery takes hold. A profusion of flowers and shrubs frames the façades, creating a secret garden atmosphere that guests rediscover with every season. In summer, the pool becomes the household's headquarters, stretching afternoons into the golden hour when the barbecue takes over. Evenings naturally drift around the fireplace, in this cottage designed to stay cool even during heat waves — a precious asset in a region where summers can prove quite generous.
