Château Portos
About
Château Portos is a cottage located in Cahuzac, in Occitanie, in the south-west of France, in the heart of the hills of Quercy. The property accommodates up to 25 people across 9 bedrooms, making it a suitable venue for large family gatherings or group stays.
The outdoor swimming pool is accessible from the main living areas and opens onto the tree-lined garden surrounding the building. A barbecue area allows for outdoor dining during summer evenings. Inside, a fireplace anchors the main living room and serves as the gathering point on cooler evenings. The air conditioning system covers the living areas and ensures thermal comfort during periods of intense heat.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, and the utility room has a washing machine — two practical features for extended stays with a large group. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A games room rounds out the indoor amenities, useful for group evenings or families with children.
The architecture of the building retains the characteristic features of Occitan character properties: exposed stone façades, generous volumes, and traditional roofing. Cahuzac is close to the medieval bastide towns of Lot-et-Garonne and the vineyards of Gaillac, providing a strong sense of place in a region shaped by rural heritage and gastronomy.
