If you were looking for a hidden gem, well you found it. One thing that we really appreciated was the fact that the essence of the place has been kept and it truly feels as if we were in another time. If the weather is nice, it is definetly worth it to go to the garden and just relax. Special thanks to the hosts that showed us around and the homemade jam was just delicious ! Will definitely come back !
This Château is truly a masterpiece to stay in. Rooms throughout have some small easter eggs from time past. You will arrive greeted by friendly faces who are happy to share the history of the area with you. Close to town with plenty to see. I cannot wait to come back!
Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful chateau during a photography retreat. The owners were lovely, and they even joined us for lunch one day. The rooms are all different and a treat; there were definitely some favorites. Be mindful that it does get cold inside, especially if it’s cold outside. Also some rooms don’t have built in radiators, and instead have a plug in radiator. The room is stayed in also had an electric toilet, so be mindful of toilet paper usage. Had no problems with running a hot shower though. The grounds are also lovely and well kept; be mindful if you do venture out in the back towards the wooded areas bc there are ticks!
We stayed at this castle for three days. The castle itself is very pleasant, as are the grounds and the swimming pool. The owners of the estate are very friendly and welcoming.
We had a wonderful family stay in a beautiful, unique, and timeless setting. The welcome was incredibly attentive, and the breakfast, with its homemade products, was superb! Highly recommended! 👍😁
