Fantastic vacation with friends from across the globe. The Chateau is gorgeous and a lovely place for all 16 of us, plenty of space, beautiful setting, and super delicious catered food options. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back! Christina and Sassan are fabulous hosts!

What an amazing place! My fiancé and I, who live in the UK, were joined by 14 of our friends from the States - an adult hen and stag, if you will. We could not have found a more perfect setting for a once in a lifetime holiday. Just a few thoughts: - Christina and Sassan are the most gorgeous hosts - nothing is too much trouble. They catered for us one night with a multi-course meal that was so wonderful. And a group of us took Sassan’s Persian Cooking Class (which the rest of us benefitted from at dinner!). Sassan is just the most lovely man, so patient with us. He is a delight. - the rooms are astonishing! When we arrived we ran around like kids, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the different rooms. All with a different, beautiful en-suite. We were in the honeymoon suite, Room 1, and it was big enough to play squash in. There is also a Games Room, with air conditioning (a lifesaver as there was a heatwave sweeping through Europe while we were there) and a TV which allowed us to catch up on World Cup matches. - there are great villages and towns nearby including Agen (18 mins away), perfect for the ‘big shop’ grocery store and in-town shopping, to little villages with gorgeous bakeries for your fresh baguettes in the morning. The Friday market in the walled city of Lectoure was brilliant - artisanal food, clothes, crafts. In Moirax, a 7 minute drive away, is a Michelin-starred restaurant called Auberge le Prieure - we had a celebratory meal there and it was phenomenal. Reservations a must - Christina and Sassan can help you with those. - the pool! We spent every afternoon in the pool (see aforementioned heat wave). There is an outdoor kitchen with drinks fridge, tons of plastic glasses, bar and BBQ for lunch/dinner, all right next to the pool. We loved it. - the kitchen is perfect for tons of people. We cooked a massive American BBQ one night and there is every pot, pan, utensil, glass, cookware, plates etc you could want. I have been to many gites (holiday homes) in France and I have never seen one so well-appointed for tons of people. We had a blip with a broken milk frother - Sassan had replaced it within hours. Christina provided us with homemade apricot jam that was perfect with the bread and butter. - the view! Right off the kitchen, it is the place to have your morning coffee and your sunset drink after dinner. And there was seating for all of us. We talked and talked and talked, looking at that view. Bottom line - this is such a special place. A wonderful location to share with some of those who you love most in the world. Which is exactly what we did at Chateau de Lassalle. Go there; you will be so glad you did.

Beautiful Chateau, lovely hosts. I spent a lot of a time in the pool and particularly appreciated it given the hot weather we had. My only regret is that I never had the opportunity to meet their cat.

What a transformation to make this Chateaux stand out, from the moment you arrive every thing is immaculate and tidy. The house has so many rooms all on suite , so much space for guests to have a great holiday, cannot wait to book.

A beautiful, well-maintained chateau in the gorgeous southwest of France. The owners have done a lovely job of bringing things up-to-date, and are warm & gracious hosts.
