Casas Rurales Tío Frasquito y Cleto
About
Nestled in the Sierra de Segura, a few minutes from the village of Yeste, Casas Rurales Tío Frasquito y Cleto is a complex of two independent rural houses that groups can rent separately or in full to enjoy a private space in the heart of nature. The two-cottage layout suits both two families looking to share a getaway and a larger group seeking to gather without the constraints of neighboring guests.
The houses are thoroughly cleaned before each arrival — bed linen and towels provided, individually wrapped — and equipped with everything needed in the kitchen to cook for a group without having to improvise. The interior space is generous, designed so that everyone finds their place without communal living turning into a logistical puzzle. Large family stays, gatherings with friends, or a mountain weekend to unwind are the natural uses of the property: the wooded, peaceful, unspoiled surroundings lend themselves to shared meals, long evenings, and mornings with no fixed agenda.
The location is a genuine asset: surrounded by dense vegetation and set well away from any bustle, the houses offer the seclusion one seeks for an intimate birthday celebration, an informal retreat, or a restorative weekend. Yeste and its surroundings offer hiking, swimming in the Segura gorges, and exploration of little-visited natural heritage — a range of possible activities, without any imposed itinerary.
With a 4.8 out of 5 rating based on 61 Google reviews, the property consistently delivers on its promises: feedback highlights cleanliness, space, amenities, and the quality of the natural setting. For a group looking to get together away from the noise without sacrificing comfort, Tío Frasquito y Cleto fills that role effectively.

Two families stayed at Tío Frasquito. The house was very clean and welcoming, and the surroundings were beautiful. We had a problem two days prior to our arrival, and frankly, the owner's reaction was very unfortunate. She didn't show up at all, and I have to say that, based on the reviews I've read, they've been much more attentive to other families than to us. I definitely wouldn't return, not because of the house itself, but because of the owner's lack of service.
Highly recommended place and house. We stayed at Tío Frasquito's house. Very spacious and clean. It's fully equipped. The location is perfect if you're looking for rest, mountains, and to disconnect. The owners are wonderful.
We really liked it. The house was very clean, with towels and sheets bagged for linens, and the kitchen equipped with the essentials. Located in an area surrounded by vegetation just minutes from Yeste, perfect for interesting and easy hikes. Quiet and with great views. Poor coverage inside the house and no Wi-Fi. A good place to unwind.
A wonderful place to relax and disconnect from the daily grind and the city. The owners were very attentive. They told us about the best places to swim, walk, and eat. We stayed for three days and it felt too short. Plus, the pool is perfect for cooling off if you don't feel like driving. We brought our dog, who had a fantastic time.
We just left Tío Cleto... we had a fantastic time. The place is wonderful, and we loved the house because it was so cool and comfortable. You can go hiking there, which also offers amazing views. Ana was very attentive; it was a real pleasure meeting her. We went to disconnect and relax, and we certainly did.
