casa rural Miradas de Aracena

About
Located in the town of Aracena, in the heart of the Andalusian sierra, the rural house Miradas de Aracena takes its name from the panoramic views it offers over the surrounding landscape, an asset unanimously praised by travellers who have stayed there.
Spaces and capacity The rural house comprises several rooms distributed throughout the property, arranged around a dining room that serves as the main living area. Bathrooms and hallways complete the interior layout. The property is rented exclusively and is suitable for groups. Its location makes it possible to reach the centre of Aracena on foot, which is a practical advantage for car-free stays or large groups.
Amenities and standard The house is described as well-equipped and perfectly clean, with paintwork recently completed. A fireplace is installed in the dining room; it creates a convivial atmosphere, although lighting it may require a little attention. On the other hand, the absence of central heating is worth bearing in mind: outside the dining room, some bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways can remain cold on winter nights. The beds are reported as firm. A few routine maintenance points were mentioned by travellers, particularly the kitchen taps and the condition of one bathroom. The house holds a Google rating of 4.4/5 based on 8 reviews, with recurring positive feedback on cleanliness, the quality of the views and the service.
Local context and activities Aracena is a town in the province of Huelva, situated within the natural park of the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, one of the largest protected areas in Andalusia. The region is renowned for its gastronomic heritage, in particular the jamón ibérico de bellota produced in neighbouring villages such as Jabugo. The Gruta de las Maravillas, a network of karst caves listed as a natural monument, is Aracena's flagship attraction. The surrounding area also offers numerous hiking trails through the oak and chestnut forests of the sierra, as well as notable architectural heritage, including the castle-fortress that overlooks the town.

The house was very cold; the fireplace only heated the dining room. The bathrooms and hallways were freezing because there was no heating. One of the bedrooms also lacked heating, though the others had it. The taps needed replacing, as very little hot water came out. The location was good, close to the center. The owner was very friendly.

The road noise makes it hard to sleep. The bathroom needs repairs. The kitchen tap is broken. The views are very nice. It's well-equipped. The beds are hard. Very clean. Recently painted. It's within walking distance of Lidl and Mercadona, and a butcher shop called Segundin.

It's not bad, some things could be improved, but the views are beautiful, everything is clean, and the service is good (the fireplace is a bit difficult to light).
