The interior spaces combine comfort with character: a fireplace for cool mountain evenings, efficient heating that has salvaged more than one winter stay, and a well-equipped kitchen where you happily prepare produce brought back from Cazorla's market. Carmen, the owner, watches with genuine attentiveness to ensure nothing is missing, and her availability comes through in nearly every guest review.
Outside, the pool area invites a well-earned rest after a day of hiking in the park — a few steps to climb, but the effort is quickly forgotten once you are settled facing the wooded ridgelines. The surroundings are peaceful, the house is clean, the amenities complete: you arrive, set down your things, and have no need to search for what is lacking.
For exploring the park, the location is ideal: the trails of Cazorla, the gorges of the río Borosa, and the lookout points over the sierra are accessible within a few minutes' drive, without the long roads that wear out a day.
What guests carry away from the Fuente de la Argamasa is rarely spectacular to recount — more a feeling: that of having spent a few days in an Andalusia that does not appear on posters, rooted in raw nature and an easy way of life that, here, does not pretend.

The house is very pretty. It's right next to the famous Argamasa fountain. People kept arriving to fill jugs. It was a bit annoying, though. Why? Why not park right in front of the garage door instead of maintaining those cars? Surprising, since it's untreated water. I have to say, I drank it; it was very good and refreshing. On the downside, the house needs new furniture and the walls need repair, as they have large damp patches. In my opinion, it would be a fantastic place if it were properly renovated. It's located on a road that's not officially marked, and it has a fairly steep incline. It's one kilometer from the village, and there's a gas station about 1.2 kilometers away. It's seventeen kilometers from the city of Cazorla.

The house is well located for visiting the park without having to travel too far. The days we chose were very cold, but the heating and fireplace made it very cozy, and Carmen is very attentive to every detail. Large outdoor area.

Quiet, beautiful, and clean house. The pool area is lovely, although there are a few stairs to climb. It has everything you could need; no detail is overlooked.
