Very large house for groups, well located near Cuenca but with the tranquility of a village. It has everything you need for a few days, from a barbecue to a swimming pool and plenty of common areas to share with your group. 100% recommended.
We spent a weekend with a group of 23 people and everything was perfect. The house has all the amenities and everything you need for a perfect stay. Comfortable beds, spacious common areas, and a large kitchen. You can take pleasant walks in the area. And communication with the owner was quick throughout.
The house is large, has an indoor pool (though the water isn't heated), a garden with a barbecue and wood-fired oven, plenty of nature to explore, and the village sports center is open for children. The city of Cuenca is just a stone's throw away. A good option for large groups.
We were a group of 7 couples with children and it was spectacular. Everything was very clean and ideal for families. The only downside was that we expected the water to be hot at 26 degrees Celsius, but it was actually lukewarm. Even so, both children and adults enjoyed swimming. Perhaps it's a little less comfortable for children under 2 or 3 years old due to the steps leading to the different areas, but it's still worth it. The owner was very friendly and attentive at all times. It's very well-equipped and nice and warm. Highly recommended.
Begoña was very helpful. The house is in excellent condition, but the comfort of the common areas for large groups is another matter. There was a lack of general tableware (glasses, decent plates, cutlery), not to mention the lack of decent wine glasses and the scarce and small clay pots, which are inadequate for a fantastic wood-fired oven. The gas stove and paella pan are small considering we were a group of 18. We brought our own. Regarding the pool, the water temperature was ideal, and we enjoyed it without needing an outdoor heater. I would say it was just okay, and with a little investment and attention to detail, it could be excellent.
