We spent the weekend at El Pilar de Santiago...the house was spectacular, it had everything we needed. Super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and the bedrooms had heating. There was a large terrace where we enjoyed the views and the weather. Ideal for getting away from it all. The hosts were lovely. We were delighted by the thoughtful touch they had for us upon arrival: rustic bread and delicious ham. Highly recommended, we'd definitely return.
In October, we took a family trip—my siblings, my sister-in-law, my husband, and I. Montse was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. When we arrived at the house, we were pleasantly surprised by the peace and tranquility, even though it's just a one-minute drive from the village. The house is absolutely perfect; it has everything you could possibly need. The village is so close that it's easy to get around, and if all you want is to disconnect, there's plenty of space to walk around without even having to leave the village. The sheep are so friendly. We couldn't be happier with our choice of house, both for the location and the facilities, and for Montse and her husband. I don't know how long it will be before we return to Aracena, but I have no doubt that we'll be back.
If you're looking for peace and quiet and to enjoy nature with your family, this is a wonderful place... Montse was very friendly and always checking on us to make sure we were okay. The house is equipped with everything you need, from kitchenware to sheets, towels, blankets—everything necessary. It's great for children; there are sheep to play on, and the village is just two minutes away—everything is close by. Thanks for everything! 😘
The house is very nice, clean and well-maintained. The grounds are huge and beautiful, and there are some animals and a swimming pool. The air is fresh, and it has all the amenities: a barbecue, fireplace, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts are very friendly and have always been available to answer any questions promptly.
For 10 days in May, a small group of seven of us used the house as our base for exploring and hiking the trails of the Sierra de Aracena. It was comfortable, secluded yet very close to the town and all amenities, and the owners were incredibly attentive and helpful. Many thanks, Montse and Santiago.
