I had a lovely stay at Borgo Casa al Vento. Gabrielle, Francesco, and Francesca were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home from the start. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the surroundings are truly beautiful — peaceful and full of charm. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. I’d happily return.
Truly exceptional hotel in the heart of Chianti Classico terroir. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the suite nestled among the Sangiovese vines in a pretty stone villa with plunge pool and complete privacy. Francesco and his team extend all efforts to make their guests feel welcome and special. Even our dog, Archie, was treated as a VIP. ….And the wines!?!?! Made with love and respect for tradition. Well-priced, authentic Tuscan cuisine served in the restaurant and very generous breakfast buffet. Stay a few days or a few weeks, it’s a destination that offers everything you need in one exclusive, tranquil location. It’s not surprising Borgo Casa Al Vento is one of Italy’s leading wedding venues as it’s such a special, romantic experience.
Came here for a friend’s wedding. Although the wedding was great the hotel experience was rather underwhelming. The rooms had mould and rust, the basic housekeeping wasn’t done so we were left without additional toilet paper and drinkable water. The price included breakfast but lunch menu was overpriced for the amount and quality of food. The drive there is also very turbulent and has a lot of turns so most of the guests mentioned feeling very nauseous.
