It is a family run bed and breakfast located on top of a hill with beautiful view. You need to drive a few kilometers in the middle of forrest with sharp turns to reach to the place which was not an issue for us, but might not be convenient to drive at night for some people. We visited in September and the weather was was too cold for using the swimming pool, and the spa was under maintenance, so we could not use the facilities at all. The restaurant offers daily menu which you need to book in advance. The food is basic and I think it is over-priced. I recommend driving to the town nearby and have much better quality food. Breakfast was not included in the price, but they offer breakfast for 10€ per person. We had a two bedroom appartement. The kitchen was very basic, the couch in the living room was extremely uncomfortable and TV was smaller than my laptop screen. The strong sewage smell from the bathroom was also very annoying.
Great place to be for a family trip or a romantic getaway in the Tuscanian hills. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the food offered is amazing. Dinner requires reservation in advance, but it can be easily sorted with the help of the staff. The only downside is the fact that the Roman baths were not available during our stay. The place is a bit pricy but overall worth it.
We spent some really nice days here; the Location is perfect for a visit to Toscany, in the countryside but at the same time close to Siena, Firenze and the Chianti region. Diner is excellent , our apartment ( Onda) offered a lot of space and a terrace with a great view, and the pool is quite large and nice. We will certainly come back again! Dogs are welcome as well!
